The General Officer Commanding 3 Division of the Nigerian Army, Jos, Maj. Gen. Nuhu Angbazo, on Wednesday said the army had commenced operation in Taraba State to fish out those behind the Jukun/Tiv crisis.
Angbazo said this in Takum while addressing religious and traditional leaders, women and youth groups on the need for peaceful coexistence in the area.
The GOC, who was represented by Brig. Gen. Briggs Daniel, said the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, had authorised the Operation Ayem Apatuma in the area to flush out bad eggs.
